Mayabeque, Cuba - La defensa de la identidad nacional, el patriotismo y el antimperialismo son temas esenciales que debaten los cederistas a las puertas de su Noveno Congreso. La etapa municipal comenzó en febrero de 2017. Un año después el proceso vive su cuarta etapa.

En Mayabeque, como en todo el país, uno de los mayores logros en dos mil 17 fue crecer en la participación de los jóvenes en las tareas de la organización. La experiencia de los 160 Destacamentos Juveniles Noveno Congreso de los CDR resultó valiosa, en tanto se fortaleció el intercambio ideológico, motivado entre otras razones,  por la convocatoria de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas a continuar fortaleciendo las ideas como arma de lucha.

La organización de la familia cubana en la provincia más joven del país, celebró el éxito de la selección de delegados a las asambleas municipales del Poder Popular, etapa del actual proceso electoral con  participación decisoria de los afiliados a  la organización de la familia cubana. Ahora se trata de promover una mayor participación del pueblo en los encuentros con los elegidos.

Los grandes problemas económicos que ha tenido que sortear nuestro país incidieron de forma profunda en la sociedad cubana y los CDR no quedaron al margen de la dureza de un período especial que trasciende a nuestros días agravado  por la agresividad con que el actual Presidente de los Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, arreció contra Cuba el bloqueo económico y financiero.

 Pese a los esfuerzos de la máxima dirección del país por minimizar los daños, la situación económica repercute en las familias cubanas, de cuyos integrantes   cerca de 8 millones se encuentran afiliados a los CDR.

La funcionalidad retrocedió, es cierto, pero el poder aglutinador y movilizativo se fortalece. No obstante, el espíritu cederista se mantuvo en las calles para no dejar morir la esencia misma que  le dio  vida.

A las puertas del noveno Congreso el ambiente en las cuadras es diferente, seguimos incorporando páginas  a una historia protagonizada por adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos y que resiste los embates del tiempo y de los enemigos. Nada, absolutamente nada, ha podido quebrantar la solidaridad, la ayuda mutua, la unidad del barrio.

Cederistas in Congress

Mayabeque, Cuba - The defense of national identity, patriotism and anti-imperialism are essential issues that the CDRs debate at the doors of their Ninth Congress. The municipal stage began in February 2017. A year later the process is in its fourth stage.
 

In Mayabeque, as in the whole country, one of the greatest achievements in two thousand and seventeen was to increase the participation of young people in the tasks of the organization. The experience of the 160 Youth Detachments Ninth Congress of the CDR was valuable, while the ideological exchange was strengthened, motivated among other reasons, by the call of the Union of Young Communists to continue strengthening ideas as a weapon of struggle.
 

The organization of the Cuban family in the youngest province of the country, celebrated the success of the selection of delegates to the municipal assemblies of the Popular Power, stage of the current electoral process with decision-making participation of the affiliates to the organization of the Cuban family. Now it is about promoting greater participation of the people in meetings with the elect.

The great economic problems that our country has had to deal with profoundly affected Cuban society and the CDRs were not left out of the harshness of a special period that transcends our days aggravated by the aggressiveness with which the current President of the States United, Donald Trump, strengthened the economic and financial blockade against Cuba.

 Despite the efforts of the country’s top management to minimize the damage, the economic situation has an impact on Cuban families, of which close to 8 million are affiliated to the CDRs.
Functionality has receded, it is true, but the unifying and mobilizing power is strengthened. However, the CDR spirit remained in the streets to not let die the very essence that gave it life.

At the doors of the ninth Congress the atmosphere in the blocks is different, we continue incorporating pages to a story starring adolescents, young and old and that resists the ravages of time and enemies.
