Güines, Mayabeque - Este 22 de enero a las 8:00 ante meridiano comenzará en la Filial Universitaria, de Güines, el Simposio “Vida, obra y repercusión del ideario de José Martí, organizado por la Sociedad Cultural José Martí y por la Cátedra Martina de ese centro de enseñanza superior.

Todos los interesados pueden asistir a este encuentro con la vida y la obra del más puro de los cubanos, asegura el historiador local, Abilio González González.

González añadió que como parte de la semana dela Cultura güienera, el 24 de enero, a partir de las 8 de la mañana, la Sala de Video ubicada en Calle Pinillo, acogerá  un Taller dedicado a la identidad.

Se expondrán y analizarán aspectos relacionados con la llamada guineriedad, rasgos distintivos que acercan e identifican a los que habitamos en esta zona de la geografía de la provincia cubana de Mayabeque, hacia el sur de la capital cubana.

En su informe Abilio González añade que el 27 de febrero, también a partir de las 8 de la mañana, sesionará en la Filial Universitaria, el Pre Congreso Provincial de la Unión Nacional de Historiadores de Cuba.

Allí coincidirán historiadores de los 11 municipios del territorio para presentar y valorar investigaciones relacionadas con nombres y hechos que marcan el devenir histórico de distintas localidades mayabequenses.

Un jurado seleccionará los mejores trabajos, los cuales ganarán el derecho de representar a la provincia en el Consejo Nacional de Historia, a efectuarse en la provincia de Camagüey.
