Realizan en Mayabeque Primer Evento de Periodismo de Investigación.

Bajo el lema “Periodismo en Mayabeque, memorias y pasión de una historia” se desarrollo el Primer Evento provincial de Periodismo de investigación dedicado en su premier al surgimiento y desarrollo de la prensa en los municipios de la provincia.

Recibieron la calificación de Desatacadas las investigaciones: “Prensa escrita en Güines, una tradición por rescatar”, de José Antonio López Díaz (GüinesTV), Juan Montalvo Díaz, hijo ilustre de San José de las Lajas”, de Maidelín Remón Ramón (Radio Camoa) y “Mayabeque nació en El Habanero”, de Reinaldo Fuentes (Periódico Mayabeque)

La primera abordó el rico historial de periodismo escrito existente en Güines desde la época colonial hasta la fecha, pero con tres etapas bien definidas: la colonial, neocolonial y después del triunfo de la Revolución. Precisamente después de 1959 y en particular de 1989 a la  fecha el descenso en el número de publicaciones resulta llamativo. Sería importante preguntarse, dijo el investigador, por qué en una municipalidad donde proliferaba el periodismo escrito, no exista en la actualidad al menos,  un boletín electrónico.

El segundo estudio resalta la figura de Juan Montalvo Díaz, quien sin ser periodista acumuló  numerosas publicaciones en los periódicos lajeros  del pasado siglo. La crítica en función del bienestar social fue común en Montalvo Díaz.

La tercera investigación profundizó en el nacimiento del periódico El Habana, cuando aún existía de la provincia de La Habana y de cómo el Periódico Mayabeque, actual órgano oficial del Partido Provincial, se nutre de aquella primera experiencia, ahora desafiando limitaciones materiales y carencia de recursos humanos.

Los trabajos presentados por Telemar, Radio Jaruco, Radio Mayabeque y Telemayabeque, recibieron reconocimiento. La Delegación de La Voz del Litoral incumplió al no estar presentada en el evento teórico.

Al cierre se realizó la convocatoria al Segundo Evento de Periodismo de Investigación a desarrollarse en julio de 2015. El tema y la fecha específica de la cita se darán a conocer oportunamente.
