Feria especial para periodistas de Mayabeque

Los miembros de la Unión de Periodistas de Cuba (UPEC) en Mayabeque  fueron reconocidos este martes por la Asamblea Provincial del Poder Popular, con el desarrollo de una feria especial de fin de año  en saludo al aniversario 56 del triunfo de la Revolución.

De esta manera el máximo órgano de gobierno, en la persona de su Presidenta, Tamara Valido García,  reconoció los resultados de la UPEC durante el año 2014, una etapa de fortalecimiento y avances de una estructura que transitan por los senderos que  abrió la celebración  del Noveno Congreso de los periodistas cubanos.

El recinto ferial de San José de las Lajas fungió como anfitrión  y hasta allí llegaron  con sus ofertas la Empresa Alimentaria, el sector agropecuario, la Empresa Pesquera Acuabana, el Combinado Avícola Nacional y la Empresa de Productos Cárnicos.

Los beneficiados tuvieron acceso a  35 productos, de los cuales cerca del 86 por ciento fue rebajado en un 50 por ciento en comparación con el precio habitual.

Luis Enrique Cortina, Presidente de la delegación de la UPEC de Telemar, dijo “la feria es excepcional, con ella se fortalece más el trabajo de atención a la prensa en la provincia”.

Dalia Reyes Méndez, directora del órgano de prensa de Radio Camoa, reconoció el esfuerzo de la Asamblea Provincial del Poder Popular y en particular el de su presidenta, Tamara Valido García.

“Todo ha salido muy bien, los colegas están muy contentos”, aseguraron los periodistas Orquídea Roque y Luis Manuel Aragón, de la corresponsalía de Radio Mayabeque en el municipio de Quivicán.

En lo que resta del mes de diciembre los afiliados a la UPEC en la provincia de Mayabeque preparan las condiciones en cada delegación para festejar  el cumpleaños 56 de la Revolución. En esos encuentros se realizará la entrega de carnés que oficializará la afiliación de 16 compañeros y compañeras a la organización.
