Organización y apoyo popular, dos aspectos necesarios para la recuperación

“Queremos reconocer el apoyo popular y el accionar de las autoridades de gobierno en todos los municipios de Mayabeque antes, durante y después del paso del huracán Irma”. Así expresó la Presidenta de la Asamblea Provincial del Poder Popular, Tamara Valido Benítez, en la apertura del programa En Tiempo real, de la emisora  Radio Mayabeque, dedicado a los resultados y lo que aún falta por hacer en materia recuperativa en el territorio.

Los enlaces con los diferentes municipios contaron con la presencia de periodistas de todas las emisoras radiales y directivos gubernamentales. De esta forma fueron valoradas las acciones restauradoras en Santa Cruz del Norte, Jaruco y Madruga, por ese orden los de mayores afectaciones.

Mediante reportajes, entrevistas e intervenciones de directivos, los oyentes conocieron de forma actualizada lo que se hizo y falta por hacer en función de  la reapertura y desarrollo posterior del curso escolar, el restablecimiento de los servicios eléctricos y de comunicaciones, así como  las estrategias que aplica la agricultura para contrarrestar la pérdida en cosechas como las de plátano, yuca y maíz.

Los embates de Irma dejaron huellas  en el fondo habitacional de la provincia, de ahí el llamado del Jefe de la Administración, Julio César García García, de atender de forma ordenada y precisa  a los ciudadanos, cuyas viviendas aparecen entre las más de 1 400 afectadas, de ellas 71  derrumbes totales y 124 parciales.

La presidenta del gobierno, Valido Benítez, informó  del inicio de la venta de materiales de construcción “a las personas necesitadas  en correspondencia con las afectaciones y prioridades determinadas en cada municipalidad y así evitar irregularidades que atenten contra el correcto cumplimiento del programa de ayuda”.

En el espacio radial En Tiempo Real, transmitido en vivo desde la sede de la Asamblea Provincial del Poder Popular en Mayabeque,  se informó cómo es el acceso a los materiales de construcción, el tratamiento a los ciudadanos afectados a partir de su situación socio-económica, y cómo actuar en el caso de las personas favorecidas por la seguridad social. 

Teniendo en cuenta la alta repercusión popular se decidió que la próxima emisión del programa de seguimiento al tema de la recuperación  en municipios  como San José de las Lajas y Güines, los más importantes de la vida socio-económica de Mayabeque.

"We want to acknowledge the popular support and action of the government authorities in all Mayabeque municipalities before, during and after the passing of Hurricane Irma." The clashes of Irma left traces in the housing fund of the province, hence the call of the Chief of Administration, Julio César García García, to attend in an orderly and accurate manner to citizens, whose homes are among the more than 1,400 affected , of which 71 total landslides and 124 partial landslides.
