Leinier representará a Cuba,Mayabeque y Güines en Copa Mundial de Ajedrez con sede en Noruega

Mayabeque, 6 ago- Leinier Domínguez Pérez, mejor ajedrecista de Latinoamérica en la actualidad, animará la Copa Mundial de Tromso, Noruega, del 10 de agosto al 3 de septiembre.

Siempre es un torneo difícil, pero voy a tratar de avanzar lo más posible; llegar a la final es la meta, dijo Domínguez, quien ocupa el puesto decimosegundo del ranking universal, con 2757 puntos Elo.
De llegar a la disputa del título, el cubano ganaría un boleto al torneo de Candidatos a la corona del orbe.

El estelar jugador, quien concluyó su preparación para la justa en su natal ciudad de Güines, provinbcia cubana de Mayabeque, debutará en la lid nórdica ante el egipcio Essam El Gindy, con dos mil 487 unidades de Elo.

Domínguez será el preclasificado número 10 entre los 128 concursantes del certamen noruego, en su quinta participación en una Copa Mundial.
