Güines festejó presencia de Gilberto Santa Rosa

Güines, Cuba - El cantante boricua Gilberto Santa Rosa visitó la Casa de la Décima de Mayabeque, en un acercamiento entre la salsa y el Punto Cubano, dos formas de expresar el arte que hermana a Cuba y Puerto Rico.

Santa Rosa, quien ya ofreció dos conciertos en la Isla, llegó a Güines y por más de dos horas departió con alumnos del Taller de Repentismo y los reconocidos poetas Héctor Gutiérrez y José Enrique Paz (Papillo), quienes dedicaron merecidas espinelas al Caballero de la Salsa.

Llegaste y la sencillez

de todo un pueblo te baña,

nadie se vuelve montaña

según el talento supo

sin la grandeza del grupo

gigante que te acompaña.

El astro boricua al fin

por una intrínseca ley

que de la salsa es un Rey

ya es del verso un paladín,

mi Cuba era paladín

que no solo es magia al Sol

el día que a esta expresión

que a un público vuelve loco

decidas ponerle un poco

de tú enorme corazón.

En declaraciones  exclusivas a Radio Mayabeque, Gilberto reconoció sentirse emocionado por la acogida que le ofrecieron en la provincia más joven de Cuba.

“Yo no tengo palabras, estoy muy emocionado, la cultura y la música están en muy buenas manos aquí. El amigo Julio César Salabeque y Luis Quintana, gente que yo respeto mucho, me habían hablado  de lo que acabo de ver, y no se equivocaron, de verdad es una pena que  tenga más compromisos hoy, porque me hubiera quedado aquí hasta mañana escuchándolos, tienen un arte muy bonito, Dios se los bendiga y gracias por tanto cariño", expresó el cantante boricua.

El Caballero de la Salsa recibió varios reconocimientos a nombre del pueblo de Mayabeque, donde su música tiene alta difusión y posee alta popularidad.

Güines, Cuba - Puerto Rican singer Gilberto Santa Rosa visited the Casa de la Décima in Mayabeque, in an approach between salsa and Punto Cubano, two ways of expressing the art that twin Cuba and Puerto Rico.
