Comienzan preparativos de la fiesta de verano en Mayabeque

Güines; Mayabeque; Cuba - El 5 de julio es la fecha escogida para iniciar el verano dos mil 14 en la provincia de Mayabeque, esta vez y en adelante  bajo la concepción de dividir el año en tres etapas, la primera de ellas en el segmento julio-agosto, donde coinciden el receso docente y el período vacacional de un alto por ciento de trabajadores.                                                                                         

Además del Campismo Popular y las visitas a las playas ubicadas en los litorales Norte y Sur, se conformará la Columna de Santa Elena al Moncada, acción que une dos hechos históricos trascendentes acaecidos en el municipio de Nueva Paz y  en Santiago de Cuba.                       

 Como es ya tradicional el verano dos mil 14 reserva tres días especiales, 25, 26 y 27 de julio, ocasión en que se conmemorará el aniversario 61 del asalto a los cuarteles Moncada y Carlos Manuel de Céspedes.                                                                                                                   

Entre el 4 y el 13 de agosto la Columna Juvenil Por los Caminos de Fidel rememorará el accionar patriótico del líder histórico de la Revolución Cubana,  para  culminar con la celebración del aniversario 88 del natalicio de, Fidel Castro Ruz.                                                                                              

La segunda etapa comenzará en septiembre y culminará en noviembre y tiene como principal objetivo mantener el concepto de recreación que prevalece en los meses de julio y agosto, aunque adaptado a la etapa del año que transcurre.                                     

En correspondencia las actividades fundamentales serían la apertura del curso escolar, la Jornada Ideológica Camilo-Che y los preparativos para las celebraciones por el  aniversario del triunfo de la Revolución y la llegada de un nuevo año.                                     

La tercera etapa comenzaría en el mes de enero y se extendería hasta julio. Durante ese lapso se realizarán la conmemoración por el aniversario del triunfo de la Revolución, la Jornada de homenaje al Héroe Nacional, José Martí y el reconocimiento a las féminas por el Día Internacional de la Mujer.   

Otro momento de trascendencia acontecerá en abril con los festejos por los aniversarios de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas  y la Organización de Pioneros José Martí. Mayo y junio darán paso nuevamente a los preparativos del período estival.

 El realizador audiovisual cubano Alejandro Pérez filmará su popular video clip “Bailando” por tercera vez, para incorporar al cantante jamaicano Sean Paul.

Este realizador tiene un sello de calidad y un corazón que le deja llegar muy lejos sin que la fama se le suba pa la cabeza, como diríamos en las calles de su isla.

Días antes de partir a Norteamérica, Pérez recibió una llamada de una vieja amiga, Viengsay Valdés, primera bailarina del Ballet Nacional de Cuba (BNC), para invitarle a dirigir un audiovisual que rendirá homenaje a la prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso. Tras ver una grabación de la coreografía de Tania Vergara sobre una música compuesta expresamente para la Alonso por el pianista Frank Fernández, el realizador aceptó sumarse al equipo y emitió su primera orden como director: invitemos a Alicia a la filmación.

Aprueban en Cuba Ley de la inversión extranjera

La Habana, Cuba -  La Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular (ANPP) aprobó este sábado por unanimidad la nueva Ley de la Inversión Extranjera, un instrumento esencial en el interés de Cuba de consolidar su modelo económico y construir un socialismo próspero y sustentable.

El texto fue refrendado por los parlamentarios con sus modificaciones y el dictamen correspondiente de las comisiones de Asuntos Constitucionales y Jurídicos, y Económica.

La sesión extraordinaria convocada por el Consejo de Estado para analizar la normativa jurídica contó con la presencia del General de Ejército Raúl Castro, Presidente de los Consejos de Estado y de Ministros, así como también dirigentes de la dirección del Partido, el Estado y el Gobierno.

En la jornada se enfatizó en la necesidad de atraer capitales extranjeros hacia los sectores de interés para el país, en particular los relacionados con la producción, pero siempre bajo el principio de la protección a los recursos naturales y la defensa y respeto de la soberanía nacional.

Una inversión extranjera bien hecha no significa regalar el país, subrayó en este sentido Marino Murillo Jorge, Vicepresidente del Consejo de Ministros y jefe de la Comisión de Implementación y Desarrollo de los Lineamientos de la Política Económica y Social del Partido y la Revolución.

Murillo dio a los delegados una explicación acerca de la importancia estratégica del nuevo texto legal, fundamentada en la necesidad de garantizar no solo un crecimiento de la economía, sino y sobre todo un modelo de desarrollo, lo cual pasa necesariamente por un incremento de las inversiones y de un financiamiento externo.

En la actualidad el país pone la mayor parte de las riquezas que genera en garantizar el consumo y en menor cuantía en las inversiones, lo cual ha dado como resultado un crecimiento pero a niveles bajos, lejos aún del cinco o siete por ciento de crecimiento del PIB necesario para un exitoso avance.

A Rodrigo Malmierca, ministro de Comercio Exterior e Inversión Extranjera, correspondió presentar el proyecto de Ley e hizo énfasis en las garantías que ofrece a los inversores, como la plena protección a las propiedades adquiridas, las cuales no podrán ser expropiadas salvo por motivos de utilidad pública o interés social previamente declarados por el Consejo de Ministros.

De igual forma, se garantiza la libre transferencia al exterior de las utilidades en moneda libremente convertible y da la posibilidad a los inversores de disponer de sus acciones a favor del Estado cubano o de terceros, siempre que estos resulten aprobados por el Gobierno de la Isla.

La jornada comenzó con un merecido reconocimiento a Melba Hernández, Heroína del Moncada y diputada recientemente fallecida, de quien se destacó su permanente ejemplo de lealtad y fidelidad a Cuba y al líder histórico de la Revolución, Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro.

Al inicio de esta jornada sabatina se escuchó la voz de los cinco héroes cubanos condenados a larga e injusta prisión en Estados Unidos por su lucha contra el terrorismo.

Fernando González, en suelo cubano luego de cumplir íntegramente su condena, agradeció en nombre de sus compañeros y familiares el extraordinario apoyo del pueblo de Cuba y en especial de Fidel a esta causa, así como también la solidaridad internacional, acicates que les han permitido continuar adelante en estos 15 años de encarcelamiento.

Llamó a los cubanos, en particular los jóvenes, y a pueblos e instituciones de todo el mundo a redoblar esfuerzos y multiplicar acciones para traer a la Patria a sus compañeros de lucha lo más pronto posible.

En esta sesión extraordinaria fueron aprobados dos miembros del Consejo de Estado para cubrir vacantes: Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, secretario general de la Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, y Rafael Ramón Santiesteban Pozo, presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Agricultores Pequeños.

Aumentan salario a trabajadores del sector de la salud pública en Cuba

El Consejo de Ministros, presidido por el General de Ejército Raúl Castro Ruz, aprobó el pasado miércoles en sesión extraordinaria el incremento del salario para más de 440 mil trabajadores del sistema de salud cubano, el cual contribuirá a la estabilidad y calidad de los servicios médicos a la población, así como a cumplir con los compromisos internacionales.

Al presentar la propuesta, Marino Murillo Jorge, jefe de la Comisión para la Implementación y Desarrollo, explicó que con ella se avanza en la puesta en práctica de varios de los lineamientos aprobados por el VI Congreso del Partido Comunista de Cuba —154, 160 y 171—, referidos a temas esenciales como la atención al personal de la Salud, la formación de especialistas con el fin de responder a las necesidades del país y el incremento de los salarios de manera gradual, encaminado este en una primera etapa a las actividades con resultados más eficientes y a la labor de aquellos trabajadores que aportan beneficios de impacto económico y social.
A CADA CUAL SEGÚN SU TRABAJO

Al exponer la política diseñada, el también Vicepresidente del Consejo de Ministros dijo que se incrementará sustancialmente el salario de los trabajadores de este sector, donde los más beneficiados serán los médicos, estomatólogos y enfermeras.

En el caso de los cargos de dirección, el salario mensual se establecerá por la complejidad y la responsabilidad encomendada y se eliminará el pago adicional que por tal motivo en la actualidad se realiza.

Igualmente, se pondrá fin a la diversidad de otros pagos adicionales que por diferentes conceptos se efectúan en estos momentos. Solo se mantendrán, expresó, los que actualmente se entregan por impartir docencia, por condiciones especiales de trabajo y por años de labor para enfermeras, trabajadores de servicio y operarios.

Como un aspecto importante, Murillo Jorge destacó que se duplica el pago por trabajar en horarios nocturnos para médicos, estomatólogos, enfermeras, técnicos y otros trabajadores.

Respecto a la colaboración médica precisó que a quienes cumplen misiones médicas en el exterior se les preservarán la plaza y el salario en Cuba. Asimismo, se aumentarán los estipendios, salarios o pagos en CUC, según corresponda, con el propósito de disminuir gradualmente las diferencias que en tal sentido existen hoy.

Por ejemplo, en el caso particular de los colaboradores en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, los del Programa Integral de Salud y la Operación Milagro se duplicarán los pagos en CUC y se mantendrán otros beneficios de los que actualmente disfrutan.

En cuanto a la formación de nuevos profesionales informó que en los próximos cinco años se continuará incrementando el número de estudiantes de Medicina y Estomatología, facilitando las capacidades para lograr las matrículas necesarias sin afectar la calidad del proceso docente.

El Jefe de la Comisión Permanente para la Implementación y Desarrollo refirió, además, que en el 2014 el plan de ingresos por la exportación de servicios de salud asciende a más de 8 mil 200 millones de CUC, lo que representa el 64% del total de ventas de servicios (incluye donaciones y Turismo y Salud).

Al propio tiempo, recordó que como resultado del proceso de reordenamiento realizado durante el período 2010-2013 en el sector de la Salud, se redujeron 109 mil trabajadores y alrededor de 2 mil millones de pesos de gastos del Presupuesto sin afectar la calidad de los servicios prestados, hecho que ha permitido respaldar este aumento de salarios.

Finalmente, como parte del cronograma de implementación diseñado, los miembros del Consejo de Ministros aprobaron que los incrementos de los pagos en CUC y de los salarios se inicien a partir del 1ro. de junio del presente año, con los salarios correspondientes a lo trabajado en el mes de mayo.

Los médicos cubanos han presentado este miércoles, en La Habana, el resultado de 14 años de investigaciones, una solución de péptidos antitumorales cuyo análogo natural es capaz de ofrecer una dinámica positiva en los tratamientos oncológicos.
